OpenAI has offered $20k for reporting bugs in Chatbot, CHATGPT. The company program bug bounty went live on Tuesday. Till now 23 vulnerabilities have been awarded. The users will be awarded for finding bugs in Plugins, API and in ChatGpt services.
OPenAI has formulated a complete structure, procedure and policies for the program. The reporter either can use their personal account or another email the company has provided as @bugcrowdninja.com.
Meanwhile, OpenAI has clearly mentioned what is in the scope and what are the things to avoid. It has categories the reports into APIs, ChatGPT and third party corporate targets and others. To manage the program OpenAI has partnered with Bugcrowd. The bounty program is initiated to address privacy concerns and prevent users from potential harm.
