Kent Business School is delighted to announce the availability of two 'SME Entrepreneur & Innovator Scholarships' for prospective MBA students. The scholarships, which are worth 25% of the MBA tuition fee, are aimed at individuals who have successfully managed a local business for a minimum of 5 years and are now seeking to expand their enterprise while creating a positive economic impact in their region.
As a part of the scholarship program, successful candidates are expected to continue promoting entrepreneurship throughout the course by organizing an event or project in collaboration with the MBA team, and by becoming a student ambassador to support the recruitment activities and initiatives for the MBA course.
Upon graduation, the scholarship recipients will join the alumni ambassadors network in their home country to contribute to key alumni events and recruitment activities, further promoting the values of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is available to all applicants who have received a formal offer to study on the MBA course for September 2023 entry. To be considered eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Have run their own local business or organization for a minimum of 5 years, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial background and commitment to regional economic growth.
- Hold a UK First Class degree or international equivalent, and/or hold substantial managerial work experience.
- Be self-funded for the MBA course.
- Submit a minimum 500-word statement of motivation, highlighting why they should be considered for the scholarship award, and showcasing their entrepreneurial background and dedication to regional economic growth.
